Approval of Minutes: Approval of last month's minutes was delayed until next month.

Financial Report: (Postponed until July after Ken meets with Traci Sincock for budget update/report.)

Committee Reports:

Exhibit Committee: It was voted and approved that July's exhibit will be an exhibit of Historical Northville. Kathleen T. stressed the need for strategic planning of our exhibits since they are core to our mission. It was decided that our next meeting on July 13 will be devoted to this task. Darcy will try to obtain a guest speaker from a gallery to speak to us about exhibit planning at 6:30 on July 13; we will then follow this with a strategic planning session during our normal business meeting.

Volunteers are needed to help hang the July show on June 28 at 5:00 p.m.!!!

Membership: Sandy Steffke and Diana Klawitter are taking over our Membership Committee. They will begin to send out renewal letters to past members. It was decided that anyone interested in volunteering or membership should contact Secretary, Sue Taylor so that their names are put on our master data base. Sue will then give the names to the appropriate committees for further action.

Publicity: Evonne Simoff (Home: 248-344-2218) has offered to send out press releases for our events.

Art House Refurbishment/Grounds:

John Zawadski of Tiffany Art Glass is donating an interior entry way light fixture.

The Eagle Scout project for re-doing our front yard flower beds will most likely take place sometime in mid July. Volunteers for this project will be needed.

Regarding display rack rental: Certificates of Insurance must be sent to Dianne Massa at City Hall and should cover the City for any liability while the racks are used. In addition, we must get confirmation that any property damage or theft to the racks will be covered. This information should be sent to Traci Sincock at Parks & Recreation.

Programming: There will be a Touch of Color Show & Sale December 2-4, 2005 hosted by 5 outside artists.

Old Business

Newsletter: Issue 3 is being planned with a target date of

Summer Concerts: Tom Holzer Ford has agreed to sponsor our summer concert series!!!!!

Hutton Park: The sculpture, "Leaves of Grass", should be installed around mid-August.

Winter Concert Series: It is undecided whether we should continue this program; more discussion to follow. A monthly folk music coffee shop idea was presented by Mike Mullen; Ken Naigus will contact Mike about this idea.
