Mayor Johnson noted that the DDA met on November 10th and will be revisiting parking expansion in the downtown. The DDA will hold a meeting on December 8, 2003 to give citizens the opportunity to give their input on parking expansion/parking deck design.

Mittman mentioned a parking related item that recently appeared in The Detroit News. He suggested that the administration review the parking ticket structure in order to determine if people are abusing the over-limit violation.

Ayers will be out of town and unable to attend the November 17, 2003 City Council meeting.
