| February 14 | Last Day to pay Winter Taxes to the City without penalty or interest. |
| March 1 | Assessment Notices are mailed the end of February, if you have not received yours by March 1, they are available online by clicking here or contact the City Assessor’s Office at (248) 449-9901. |
| March | The Board of Review meets for the purpose of reviewing the Assessment Rolls and hearing petitioner appeals during the second and third week of March. You must have an appointment to be heard by the Board of Review. Appointments can be made by contacting the Assessing Office at (248) 449-9901 after March 1. |
| May 1 | Principal Residence Exemption Date. The taxpayer must own and occupy the property as their primary residence as of May 1st to receive the 18 mill exemption from school operating tax. May 1 is also the deadline to file the Principal Residence Exemption Affidavit. |
| 45 Days from Purchase | You have 45 days from the date of purchase to file a Property Transfer Affidavit. |
