Downtown Citizens District Council

Purpose and Composition

The Downtown Citizens District Council acts as an advisory board to the Downtown Development Authority and City Council in the adoption of development or tax increment plans within the district.  This board is established at least 90 days before the public hearing on the development or tax increment financing plan.  

The board consists of not less than nine members that shall be residents of the DDA district, and at least 18 years old.  Members are appointed by City Council.  For more information, contact the DDA Director at 248-349-0345.
