CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT OVERLAY ZONING DISTRICT

The City of Northville Planning Commission has been studying the North Center Street corridor over the past few years. The City’s efforts have examined land use, parking, pedestrian connections, architecture, and other characteristics of North Center Street. This work has been summarized in the City’s updated Master Plan, and the Planning Commission is now focusing upon the possible creation of an overlay zoning district.

The Planning Commission will be holding a public information meeting on February 7, 2012 at 7:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers regarding this overlay zoning district.

C.E.R.T. Training
 In the event of an emergency or disaster that overwhelms local response capability, CERT members can apply the training learned in the classroom and during exercises to give critical support to their family, loved ones, neighbors or associates in their immediate area until help arrives.
