Business License Initial Registration

The Code of Ordinances requires all businesses to register with the City.

• No business may operate in the City without first obtaining a business license.
• The business license shall be posted in a visible place.
• Inspections are required.
• An ordinance violation may be issued to a business operating without a business license.

Business License Registration Annual Renewal

• Courtesy renewal notices are mailed in November to all licensed businesses.
• Businesses that do not receive a renewal notice are responsible for contacting the City Clerks office to obtain duplicate renewal forms.
• Licenses expire December 31. Renewal forms due by January 1.
• Delinquent renewals are subject to late fees.
• An ordinance violation may be issued to a business operating without a business license.
