City Manager Overview

Patrick Sullivan was selected to be the City manager of Northville in March 2006.  His previous governmental experience includes 10 years as superintendent of the City of St. Clair, MI; four years as assistant Village manager and Village clerk of Beverly Hills, MI; manager of the Village of New Haven, MI; and township clerk of Lenox Township, MI.

Sullivan received a Masters of Public Administration from Oakland University, and a Bachelors of Public Affairs from Wayne State University.

In 2018, he served as president of the Michigan Municipal Executives (MME), leading an association that represents approximately 300 Michigan municipal managers.  Other professional memberships include the International City Managers Association and the Michigan Municipal League.

Patrick and his wife Amy (retired City Manager of Huntington Woods) have three grown children, Casey, Laney and Annie.
