Stay connected with us
Stay connected with the City of Northville through our official social media channels on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. These platforms allow us to share timely updates, celebrate our community, and keep residents, businesses, and visitors informed about what’s happening across the city. By following our pages, you’ll see updates such as:
  • Community events and city announcements
  • Road closures, construction updates, and infrastructure projects
  • Election information and voting reminders
  • Tax bill and assessment notices
  • Important updates from City Departments
  • Celebrations and staff recognitions

While emergency alerts are primarily distributed through the Northville Police Department’s Nixle system, the City may also share important alerts and safety reminders on social media when broader communication is helpful.

Our channels are also a place to recognize the people who help shape our community. We share updates about appointments to boards and commissions, volunteer opportunities, and important initiatives led by these advisory groups.

In addition to city news, we highlight community programs, nonprofit initiatives, and collaborative events that bring people together. We also share updates from local partners and organizations working to strengthen Northville.

Celebrating what makes Northville unique is a big part of our social media presence. Throughout the year, we showcase the city’s historic charm, vibrant downtown, parks, and seasonal traditions, from the Independence Day parade and Heritage Festival to October’s skeleton displays, Veterans Day observances, and the annual Holiday Lighted Parade.
