Customers have more time to pay April bill

Photo credit: Andrea Piacquadio, Pexels.The City of Northville is extending the due date for the April utility bills (with no penalty) from Friday, May 22 to Friday, June 19, an action that stems from the governor’s extension of the “Stay Home. Stay Safe” executive order.

City of Northville utility customers will receive their next bill on or around April 22. The effective date of the bill will be May 19 with the due date being 30 days later. This bill covers water and sewer usage for February and March and refuse service for April and May.

Please pay by mail (City Of Northville – Utilities, P.O. Box 674518, Detroit MI 48267-4518); or online at this webpage. (use a credit card or electronic bank transfer from your bank account. Convenience fees apply. You can also place it in the drop box in the City Hall vestibule. For your safety, wipe the handle of the entrance door and drop box with a disinfectant cloth or wear gloves before depositing your check (no cash payments please). Customers with autopay will have their payments posted on the June 19 due date.

Payments mailed to the P.O. Box address are processed by Comerica Bank on the day they are received.
